The Conference Experience

Welcome Dinner and Networking
The evening begins at 6:00 pm
Arrive earlier before the Conference to enjoy the space with fellow delegates before the scheduled sessions begin.
The welcome reception is an inspiring (yet gentle) opening to ease into the Conference experience. This evening is about arriving fully, reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting new ones and beginning to build the sense of community that carries through the days ahead.
Conference Day 1
On Day 1 we dive into the heart of the B1G1 experience. Connecting with purpose-driven business leaders, hearing powerful stories from Worthy Causes, and experiencing the impact we’re making together.
The day culminates with the exciting Impact Auction and Appreciation Dinner, where we come together to celebrate our collective impact and appreciate one another in this joy-filled evening.
Conference Day 2
The Conference concludes by 4:00 pm
On Day 2 we put every single thing into motion. Aligning technology, culture, and human connection to drive lasting impact. We’ll look ahead to the future, explore ways to accelerate our collective impact towards 1,000,000,000 and reflect on the legacy we’re building together.

Travelling to the Conference
Shrigley Hall is located just outside the city to create an intimate and immersive Conference experience, while remaining easy to reach.
By Car
If you are driving, central Manchester is around 40 minutes away and London is a 4 hour drive.
Shrigley Hall offers complimentary on site parking, including electric vehicle charging.
If you are open to sharing a ride or picking others up from the station, we are also very happy to help coordinate this and make it part of the connection experience.
By Train
Macclesfield is one of the nearest stations and is around a 15 minute drive to Shrigley Hall.
It has direct connections to major train stations with the trip from London Euston, Manchester Picadilly and Birmingham New Street all under 2 hours.
Adlington is another station located nearby with frequent trains from Manchester Picadilly.
Flying In
Manchester Airport is the nearest international travel hub, with direct connections across the UK, Europe and beyond.
Shrigley Hall is approximately 20 minutes away by car. From the airport, you can take a taxi or rideshare directly to the venue.

Absolutely! Many delegates choose to attend with their team or invite trusted partners and peers and we'd love to meet them. Experiencing this Conference together creates shared language, alignment, and momentum that continues well beyond the event.
For groups of two or more, we also offer special group booking rates to make it easier to attend together. You can unlock these rates on the ticket booking page with the access code 'GROUP'.

Of course! We encourage you to bring your loved ones along so they can share in this life-changing experience and join you in celebrating the joy together.
We also offer ‘dinner only’ passes for family members who aren’t involved in the Conference, but would like to join in at dinner time.

3. Accommodation for at least a two-night stay is recommended to fully experience the Conference. We’re arranging a special Conference rate with Shrigley Hall Hotel & Spa, with room rates expected to start from approximately £111 per night for two people sharing a double room. For those travelling by train, Macclesfield Station is less than two hours from London Euston and is the closest station to the venue. From Macclesfield, the hotel is around a 20 minute drive. Stockport and Hazel Grove stations are also nearby options.

While almost all of the delegates are B1G1 Members, the Conference is open to anyone curious about building a business that creates lasting value and real-world impact.
You’ll be alongside business owners, founders and leadership teams who care deeply about trust, purpose, and long-term success (who value meaningful conversation over surface-level networking).
The Conference is also an opportunity to learn from the lived experiences of Worthy Cause representatives who share their inspiring stories.
This is primarily an in-room experience designed for presence and participation. Limited recordings or summaries may be shared post-event, but the value is in being there.
You are very welcome to choose to arrive early or stay on to enjoy the surroundings, rest, or continue conversations. Discounted room rates are available with your Conference pass.
